There is a great potential for value growth if a significant portion of the land were to be planted in teak… say plant 72 acres and leave 4 acres around the buildings for garden.  The teak would shade the coffee trees (shade Arabica Coffee is the best in the world).

According to other teak growers (i.e. http://www.panamateakforestry.com/ ), 72 acres could initially support 32,000 teak trees.  There would be a small harvest between 7 and 9 years (thinning) and every few years thereafter until the teak is mature in 25 years.
